Very highly recommended. I can not imagine the birth of our son without Sarah and Charli. It's a tremendous service operated by extraordinary women. We felt very prepared for birth and the post-birth wisdom, responsiveness and support was so very appreciated. We chose Hearth and Home Midwifery because of their level of caring and they sustained this in EVERY interaction over 8 months. As a father, I especially appreciate the way we were presented with both their experience and scientific data for every decision and I never felt alienated from the decisions or the process... I cannot recommend Charli and Sarah of Hearth and Home Midwifery highly enough. They work hard to stay up-to-date and are so knowledgeable. Instead of telling me the next step when complications arose during my pregnancy, they provided informed consent: providing information, offering suggestions, and ultimately allowing me and my partner to make the final decision. They went out of their way to establish a relationship with my 3-year-old daughter and make her feel included in the process of my care. Sarah and Charli are compassionate and caring; I always left appointments with them feeling encouraged and loved. I've never felt so respected by healthcare providers. I will miss them so much, now that my baby and I have graduated from their care.My baby's shoulder got stuck after his head was born, a situation that had the potential to be frightening and very dangerous. Charli and Sarah remained calm and helped my baby out in a way that was very gentle and also very quick. My baby came out screaming and thriving, and I didn't even tear! I'm so grateful that they kept us both so safe.
