What Are Midwifery Services?

To us at Hearth & Home, midwifery is more than just a healthcare profession. It's our calling. As midwives, we attend to the pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care needs of birthing people. Here’s a taste of what midwifery services we can offer you:

• Natural birth services, birth at home, and water birth
• Routine exams and lab work you’d have at any birthing facility
• Education and counseling on all facets of pregnancy including mood, clinical care, nutrition and supplements, movement, and exercise
• Newborn well-care support such as feeding and lactation, weight and vitals, bilirubin, blood sugars, normal behaviors and how to interpret them
• Well-person postpartum care including healing from birth, postpartum mood support, and breast health
• Holistic, natural, alternative, and complementary wellness

We know that our work is deeply personal and intimate, and that our services can have an impactful and lasting imprint on you and your family’s lives.

All the midwives at Hearth and Home are Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) and are licensed in Oregon and Washington.
